एक लड़की बहुत से फूल लिए।
दिल की दहलीज़ पर खड़ी होगी।
A lovely dame with lot of flowers.
Standing on a hearty attire.
चाहे जितने चिराग़ गुल कर दो।
दिल अगर है तो रोशनी होगी।
You may sniff out many lamps.
With heart, there will be fire.
नींद तरसेगी मेरी आँखों को।
जब भी ख़्वाबों से दोस्ती होगी।
My eyes 'll long for sleep.
When dreams befriend this ire.
हम बहुत दूर थे मगर तुम ने।
दिल की आवाज़ तो सुनी होगी।
We were very far away but still
Heart sounds were heard sans wire.
सोचता हूँ कि वो कहाँ होगा।
किस के आँगन में चाँदनी होगी।
I often think, where will she be
Lighting which home with her fire.
