While being in heart, the eyes are veiled by someone.
Pleasure is when found, you are searched by someone.
तुमने तो हुक़्म-ए-तर्क-ए-तमन्ना सुना दिया।
किस दिल से आह! तर्क- ए- तमन्ना करे कोई।
You have just ordered to renounce all the desires.
By heart, how can you renounce desire of someone.
दुनिया लरज़ गई दिल- ए- हिश्मा- नसीब की
इस तरह साज़- ए- ऐश न छेड़ा करे कोई !
World was shaken for the heart called"reject,"
Let not the pleasure instrument be played by someone
मुझको ये आरज़ू वो उठाएँ नक़ाब ख़ुद ।
उनको ये इंतज़ार तक़ाज़ा करे कोई।
My desire is she raises the veil herself.
She waits for request made by someone.
रंगीनी- ए- नक़ाब में गुम हो गई नज़र।
क्या बे- हिजाबियों का तक़ाज़ा करे कोई।
My vision was trapped in colours of veil.
How urge of coyness be put before someone.
या तो किसी को जुर्रत- ए- दीदार ही न हो
या फिर मिरी निगाह से देखा करे कोई।
Either none be permitted to see her at all.
Or with my attributes, she be seen by someone.
होती है इसमें हुस्न की तौहीन ऐ 'मजाज़' इतना न अहल- ए- इश्क़ को रुस्वा करे कोई।
O Majaz ! It is humiliation of beauty.
That lovers be so much disgraced by someone.
