मैं चाहता था चराग़ों को आफ़्ताब करूँ

मैं करवटों के नए ज़ाइक़े लिखूँ शब-भर
ये इश्क़ है तो कहाँ ज़िंदगी अज़ाब करूँ
Why torment life, if this is called love ?
Many tastes for turns about night long scroll.
ये ज़िंदगी जो मुझे क़र्ज़-दार करती रही
कहीं अकेले में मिल जाए तो हिसाब करूँ
This life that lead me in debt all along.
If I meet her alone, I can level the goal.
