शरीफ़ लोग उठे दूर जा के बैठ गए

The gentlemen got up, sat at distance and out.
नज़र-नवाज़ नज़ारा बदल न जाए कहीं
ज़रा सी बात है मुँह से निकल न जाए कहीं
Scene pleasant to eyes may somehow not change.
It's a small talk, may not get out of mouth range.
ये सोच कर कि दरख़्तों में छाँव होती है
यहाँ बबूल के साए में आ के बैठ गए
Thinking that the trees
possess some shade.
I came here to sit under
the Acacia tree shade
वो आदमी नहीं है मुकम्मल बयान है
माथे पे उस के चोट का गहरा निशान है
He isn't a man but a statement full of drama. .
On his forehead is a deep scar out of trauma.
