How far on your hopes can be hoaxed my heart? 

Make an excuse that it breaks hope of each sort. 

तुम नहीं पास कोई पास नहीं 

अब मुझे ज़िंदगी की आस नहीं

आस में तेरी बिखरा देता हूँ कमरे की सब चीज़ें।

Awaiting the dawn, my life was over.

मर के भी चैन न पाया तो किधर जाएँगे

Now perplexed, he is just talking about death. 

Where to go, if there isn't

 peace after death?

Why am I not getting peace?

Are you aware, while having a peaceful sleep? 

Night long in your memories, who couldn't sleep? 

तर्क-ए-तअल्लुक़ात पे रोया न तू न मैं 

लेकिन ये क्या कि चैन से सोया न तू न मैं

After this break up, neither I wept nor you. 

But why in peace, neither I  slept nor you? 

न जाने रूठ के बैठा है दिल का चैन कहाँ

Life was passed this way, desolate. 

With caravan I was on way, desolate. 

अब जुदाई के सफ़र को मिरे आसान करो 

तुम मुझे ख़्वाब में आ कर न परेशान करो..... मुनव्वर राना..... 

My journey of life, now put at ease. 

In dreams, do not disturb me please ! 

किसी को घर से निकलते ही मिल गई मंज़िल 

कोई हमारी तरह उम्र भर सफ़र में रहा

Getting out of home, someone reached goal. 

I was on the way for life as a whole.

याद आई वो पहली बारिश।
