COUPLETS ON ETERNITY....

मैं बिस्तर-ए-ख़याल पे लेटा हूँ उस के पास 

सुब्ह-ए-अज़ल से कोई तक़ाज़ा किए बग़ैर..... जौन एलिया..... 

On bed of thoughts, I am lying by her side. 

Without a demand before eternal morning tide. 

अज़ल से क़ाएम हैं दोनों अपनी ज़िदों पे 'मोहसिन' 

चलेगा पानी मगर किनारा नहीं चलेगा 

..... मोहसिन नक़वी..... 

'Mohsin' since eternity, obduracy both hold in groove. 

The water would flow but the shore won't move. 

अज़ल से ता-ब-अबद एक ही कहानी है 

इसी से हम को नई दास्ताँ बनानी हैं 

..... कालीदास गुप्ता रज़ा..... 

From start to eternity one story prevails. 

From it we will frame many new tales. 

  

कितने मह-ओ-अंजुम हैं ज़िया-पाश अज़ल से 

लेकिन न हुई कम दिल-ए-इंसाँ की सियाही 

..... क़ादिर सिद्दीक़ी..... 

Since the eternity, many stars and moon shine. 

But darkness of human heart is not on decline. 

अदाएँ ता-अबद बिखरी पड़ी हैं 

अज़ल में फट पड़ा जोबन किसी का 

..... बयान मेरठी..... 

Styles are scattered till eternity enroute. 

It's start of youth in a damsel cute. 

मैं रूह-ए-आलम-ए-इम्काँ में शरह-ए-अज़्मत-ए-यज़्दाँ 

अज़ल है मेरी बेदारी अबद ख़्वाब-ए-गिराँ मेरा ..... शिबली नोमानी..... 

I am a possibility of soul in God's grandeur. 

It's start is awakening, eternal dreams I pour. 

 

दस्त-ए-जुनूँ ने फाड़ के फेंका इधर-उधर 

दामन अबद में है तो गरेबाँ अज़ल में है 

..... असद अली ख़ान क़लक़..... 

Hands of frenzy tore it, threw this way 'n that to probe. 

The hem is in beginning and 

till eternity, stretches robe. 

अज़ल से हम-नफ़सी है जो जान-ए-जाँ से हमें 

पयाम दम-ब-दम आता है ला-मकाँ से हमें..... साहिर देहलवी..... 

Since start are co-breathers, I and she. 

God sends message quite often to me. 

वापस पलट रहे हैं अज़ल की तलाश में 

मंसूख़ आप अपना लिखा कर रहे हैं हम 

..... ज़ुल्फ़िक़ार आदिल.....

In search of eternity, I am  returning again. 

Cancelling what I had written so plain. 

अज़ल से मेरी हिफ़ाज़त का फ़र्ज़ है उन पर 

सभी दुखों को मेरे आस-पास होना है

Since start of universe, my care is his concern. 

All griefs have to be near by me, stubborn. 

  

मिरी ज़मीन पे फैला है आसमान-ए-अदम 

अज़ल से मेरे ज़माने पे इक ज़माना है 

..... शहबाज़ रिज़्वी.....

Adam's sky is stretched on my land. 

Since start of universe, it's the stand. 

  

रोक लेता है अबद वक़्त के उस पार की राह 

दूसरी सम्त से जाऊँ तो अज़ल पड़ता है 

..... इरफ़ान सत्तार..... 

Time holds from start the  way across. 

From other side, eternity one must pass. 

ख़त्त-ए-पेशानी में सफ़्फ़ाक अज़ल के दिन से 

तेरी तलवार से लिक्खी है शहादत मेरी

.....शबाब..... 

From the start of life with

 blood in my fate. 

My martyrdom is written by your sword, mate
