ऐ मर्दे - ख़िरद! हदीस-फ़र्दा हवस अस्त

दर दहर ज़दन लाफ़े-सुख़नहा हवस अस्त

इम्रोज़ चुनीं हर कि ख़िरदमन्द कस अस्त 

दानद कि हमः चुनीं यक नफ़स अस्त

उमर ख़य्याम 

Eiye mardey-khhirada! Hadiisey-fardaa havasa asta

Dara dahara zada a laafey-sukhhanahaa havasa asta

I roza chuniin hara ki khhiradmanda kasa asta

Daanada ki hamah chuniin yaka nafasa asta. 

ऐ समझदार! आने वाले कल की बात हवस है। 

इस दुनिया में डींग मारने वाली बात हवस है। 

बुद्धिमान इन्सान वही है जो इस दुनिया में। 

जाने कि यह संसार क्षणिक की ही बहस है। 

 Discussing tomorrow is a matter of lust. 

To boast of anything is a matter of lust. 

That man alone is wise in this world. 

Who knows that world is momentary, a must.

This creation of perception is also full of sthiti. 

From absolute fullness, this perceptible full universe of naamroopa appears to arise in srishti. 

When from this infinite world of Naamroopa,the infinite names are removrd
