You have passed an order to renounce all desires.
By heart, how can these be renounced by someone.
दुनिया लरज़ गई दिले हिश्मानसीब की
इस तरह साज़े-ऐश न छेड़ा करे कोई
World was shaken for the heart destined as reject.
Let not such instrument of joy be played by someone.
मुझको ये आरज़ू वो उठाएँ नक़ाब ख़ुद
उनको ये इन्तेज़ार तक़ाज़ा करे कोई
